Human creation and sex

In the Bible, after creating Adam and Eve, God blessed them and gave them a commandment. In Genesis 1:28, it is written: "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth."

The commandment includes the instruction to "be fruitful and multiply," which is understood to mean that God intended for humanity to procreate and continue to populate the earth. Thus, since human beings were created, the mission of populating the earth was ordered by God, and in order to do so, human beings would have had to reproduce. Therefore, from the creationist point of view, it would be reasonable that humans started sex from the time human beings were created in the Bible.

On the other hand, how did humans evolve sex from an evolutionary point of view?

When the first members of the Homo genus, which includes modern humans (Homo sapiens), evolved around 2.8 million years ago in Africa, it is considered that early humans would have sex in the form of more animal racial preservation. However, as human intelligence increased, humans began to form a cluster society, and then the concept of family and class were created, and also humans seemed to start playing or enjoying any forms of leisure. This is the first step of the evolution of human sex, which would have been a means of enjoying it, not just a means for reproduction.

Humans began to describe sex when they started to enjoy it.

There is evidence of erotic imagery in the murals and art of some ancient civilizations, such as the ancient Greeks and Romans, as well as some prehistoric cultures. In terms of prehistoric art, there are some erotic imagery found in cave paintings, such as the cave of La Garma in Spain, which includes depictions of sexual acts.

Pornography is a term used to describe sexually explicit material that is intended to arouse sexual desire. This can include images, videos, audio recordings, and written material that depict sexual acts or nudity in a way that is designed to be sexually stimulating. According to this definition of pornography, it can be considered that the beginning of porn has always been with humans since the creation of human beings.

Porn in history

Throughout the beginning of human history, when humans first started drawing, they also started drawing obscene images. When humans first made letters, they also started writing erotica. When humans first started using tools, they also started making sex toys.

In ancient Greece and Rome, Greek pottery from the sixth and fifth centuries BCE frequently included sexual scenes and phallic symbols, whilst Roman art from the first century BCE through the fourth century CE featured explicit pictures and sculptures.

In ancient China, sexual imagery was also prevalent, with erotic art and literature reaching back to the Han dynasty (206 BCE – 220 CE). Despite the fact that sexual expression was tolerated in these societies, it was frequently restricted to the upper classes and employed as a symbol of political power and social prestige.

Porn, described by humans in paintings, writings, buildings, and household goods from the past, can be found in an enormous number of counts.

The development of science innovates pornography

The development of typography began to mass-produce the erotic literature as a book, and the technology of publication began to publish paintings with porn on a book.

The 16th century saw the rise of printing technology and the publication of erotic literature, with books such as Pietro Aretino's "I Modi" (The Ways) and "The School of Women" by Nicolas Chorier featuring explicit illustrations and descriptions of sexual acts.

The 18th and 19th centuries saw a greater acceptance and even celebration of sexual expression, with the emergence of the Enlightenment and the Romantic movement. Erotic literature and art flourished during this time, with works such as "Fanny Hill" by John Cleland and the paintings of Gustave Courbet and Édouard Manet.

In the early 19th century, the invention of the camera and film projector revolutionized pornography. With the invention of the camera, people could no longer express pornography as pictures, but also print images as they were in reality, but the community considered it illegal, so the photos taken by cameras were likely produced for private consumption rather than public circulation.

In spite of this, Alfred Kinsey, who founded the Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender, and Reproduction in 1947, published his books based on the research he conducted into human sexuality, such as "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male" (1948) and "Sexual Behavior in the Human Female" (1953). It was a revolutionary step to publish a book that included sexual pictorials that were captured on camera, and encouraged that the photographs, which were really captured by the camera, started to be published and distributed as books, and this was the birth of what is now generally referred to as pornography in contemporary society. Also, shortly after the first silent film was shown on a black-and-white projector in 1895, Le Coucher De La Marie produced and screened the first sexually explicit film containing female nudity and sex scenes in the following year.

Literally the 20th century brought significant changes to the pornography industry, with the advent of photography and film leading to the production of explicit content on a mass scale. The 1960s and 1970s saw the rise of the "sexual revolution" and a greater acceptance of sexual expression in mainstream culture. Pornography became more widely available and more socially acceptable, with the publication of magazines such as Playboy and the release of the film "Deep Throat" in 1972.

During the years 1964–1975, when the Vietnam War was at its height, when weapons and food were transported by plane from the US mainland to US soldiers who had been deployed to Vietnam, there were numerous porn magazines on board among the items sent along with the plane, and inside the helmets of the soldiers, they kept a picture of a beautiful nude model in the midst of battle. During this time period, pornography was not illegal in the United States.

Also, newsstands located on the sidewalks displayed pornographic periodicals, and bookshops started selling adult magazines along with pornography. Parents battled to keep pornographic magazines out of the reach of their children, and the youngsters would embark on treasure hunts around the house in an effort to find the magazines that had been stowed away by teenagers and hidden either deep in the desk drawers or beneath their beds.

When video technology advanced and movies gained popularity, pornography transitioned from books to movies as a medium of expression. The invention of the handheld video camera and the machinery required to produce many copies of a film simultaneously led to the widespread consumption of porn contents. One room at the Blockbuster video rental store, marked Adults Only, had hundreds of porn videos on display, and each bed in a family contained an adult video or two in a drawer.

Technology evolves with porn

Throughout the course of human history, humans have adapted new technologies for pornographic objectives, frequently making use of the most recent advancements in order to produce and disseminate explicit works. I believe this is inherent to humans as well as a very natural process.

The first cameras made erotic pictures, and video cameras made sex videos. As soon as the full-color camera came out, it could show the skin color of a naked woman, and as soon as the handheld camcorder came out, home video players made it possible to watch porn while sitting on the couch at home. As movies evolved from analog video tapes to digital formats such as CDs and DVDs, pornography also developed into high-definition film images.

The invention of the personal computer was not only a great change in human life, education, society and culture, but also contributed greatly to the generalization of pornography. In addition, as the Internet line was connected to the computer, the concept of an information network was born, and pornography occupied a considerable portion of the information moving through the network line.

The personal computer that was on the desk in the house was moved to the lap of an individual under the name of a laptop, and the wireless network made it possible that pornography could be watched anywhere, rather than just sitting in one place using a device connected to a wire. In recent years, the advent of the internet and mobile devices has dramatically changed the pornography industry, with the proliferation of free and easily accessible online content.

Computer Generated Porn

The invention of the computer was the most advanced technology in human history. The time to organize documents and data has been drastically reduced, and more information can be processed in the same amount of time. The technology using computer graphics made it possible to work with various pictures and photographs through the computer, and the computer produced results that were difficult to distinguish whether it was real or fake.

Filmmakers began using computer graphics to safely create scenes indoors, rather than making risky and expensive live-action films. For example, if you look at the evolution of film production from Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope, first released in theaters in 1977, to Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker in 2019, you can see how much computer graphics has evolved. Also, movies such as Jurassic Park and Avatar would not have been possible without computer graphics. When director James Cameron started making Avatar I (2009), he said, "Finally, the time has come for me to make the movie that I want."

As James Cameron said, the time has come to make porn the way we want it. And the tool that will make it possible is AI - Artificial Intelligence.

3D character animation videos using CG have already been produced for a long time in Japan, which almost monopolizes animation, and can be easily found on the Internet these days. However, the level of computer graphics that filmmakers want to work on a film for theatrical use is not an animation-like picture, but a real screen like a real picture. But the reality is that if a filmmaker wants to make such a real-like picture, even if it is using computer graphics, the production cost is as high as that of a real picture. In the case of Avatar 2, which was released in 2023, the investment budget reached $460 million, and it was recorded as the most expensive movie in Hollywood history. Although it is not necessary that the bomb must be detonated outdoors and the building is demolished, a lot of money is required while sitting indoors as manpower and time to draw each bomb fragment and debris in the computers.

If so, how can we create a close-to-realistic picture in your movie without spending a lot of money?

The answer is AI (Artificial Intelligence). To create a single cut of film using computer graphics, we need to create 60 precise pictures to make 60 frames per second, and a lot of people and a lot of time are needed to make that one sheet. But what if AI could do it all at once? AI involves the development of algorithms and computer systems that can perform tasks that require human intelligence, such as natural language processing, image recognition, and decision-making. AI systems can learn and adapt to new situations, making them increasingly capable of performing complex tasks that would otherwise be difficult or impossible for computers to perform. Even though computers only give answers to commands commanded by humans, AI analyzes and judges within the information it has acquired and presents the results. If a human teaches AI chess, AI becomes the best chess player. Teaching AI a language, it becomes a translator who masters all languages in the world. Teaching AI laws and all precedents, it becomes a better lawyer than anyone else. Teaching AI music, it can write a song, and teaching the AI how to draw, it will draw great art.

If humans show porn to an AI and make it understand all the actions that appear there and the basis of the actions, what can AI create? If that happens, AI will be able to become a better director than any porn director in the world and produce truly amazing porn.

Alright, so the time has come when we can all enjoy some fantastic AI-generated porn. Look forward to it. A new era of porn will open. And get ready. The era of AI creating porn... …

Spain is definitely a culture where pornography has had a lot of influence on art in general, partly because it was a society repressed by the Franco dictatorship. For 40 years, society was unable to see anything that contained sexual references in literature, painting, cinema, etc. There are good articles on this blog https://www.solomasajistas.com/blog/ where everything discussed about sex and eroticism is detailed very well.
